Power to the Poutine - what the hell is poutine is one of the first questions I normally get. Poutine is the biggest fast food in Canada and it is starting to come over here to the UK. I make my Poutine with maris piper potatoes fresh from the fields of Nottinghamshire. The potatoes are then hand cut and double fried to make them golden brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I then add squeaky cheese curds which I source from a small independent dairy in Somerset. Over the top of this I pour homemade gravy which is made by me using Jamie Olivers recipe. This is poutine and to the top of this we add lots of delicious toppings. Most of what we do is vegetarian although we do always offer options for the carnivores amongst us.
